Framed New York prints for your office walls.
The world of photography has changed beyond recognition over the years. The one thing that has been a constant is the way a camera works. Aperture, time value and ISO haven’t changed. Even if you have an iphone those three things still going on in the background even though you don’t need to know. A camera is still a box with a hole in front of it.
For many years I used a medium format film camera Bronica ETRSI. Many of the London prints on this website were taken with that camera.
I’ve always stuck with Canon although I like Nikon cameras. I’ve has various Canon SLRs- A1, AE1 program, lots of the early digital EOS versions and I now use 2 x Canon 1DS mk11 cameras. Although they are the elder statesmen of the DSLR world the 1DS’s are built like tanks and I used these to take all of the New York and Paris prints.
Using a tripod is a very important part of my gear as you can imagine as I use slow shutter speeds for all of the light streak prints you see in the galleries. My current Manfrotto has seen me through the years.
I don’t apply any post production in photoshop - ever. Im very ‘old school’ and given the years spent developing and printing my own prints I believe you must start with the image finished in the camera. No material on my website has been manipulated in any way. You can see the galleries of New York Prints below:
I ‘m working slowly on a set of New Zealand and Australia prints which I hope will be ready during 2025.
