Eiffel Tower and framed prints of Paris for an office.

I’ve been hanging prints of Paris in offices for years. I’ve got a great choice Eiffel Tower tower prints. Although the print below isn’t of the Eiffel Tower it’s one of my favourites. I remember taking it and before it gets lost in this blog I thought I’d put it at the top. I used Fuji Velvia film in my medium format Bronica camera, 64 ISO. If you like it as much as I do you can see it here.

If you’ve been reading my blog and looking at the other pages you would have seen the print below in colour. I’ve printed it in black and white because it works beautifully as part of a set of Paris black and white prints. Notice the rule of thirds I’ve used here; the subject is in the left hand third of the image of the vertical and the sky takes up roughly two thirds of the horizontal. You can see this print here.

There’s so much subtlety in the landscape in Paris and I think more about the grey tones in the black and white images I take. There are Metro signs, scooters, the people, signage, not to mention the bridges in Paris. I could spend a day just photographing the lights on the bridges alone. Light streaks too are great with the Paris landscape in behind. You can see one of my bridge prints below here.
