Our USP or ‘unique selling point’ is something that sets us apart from all of the other people out there doing a similar thing to us. There are two things that set us apart from all those people that appear on Google when you key in ‘black and white and colour prints on London’ The thing about my gallery is that we’re a bit ‘old school’. I use film and although I’ve embraced digital I know and understand film and I know how to make a print using film. I think this is a huge thing. Using film makes me think very carefully about each shot that I take and if my camera is on a tripod the process is slowed down even more.

Take the print below as an example. It would be very easy to take a ‘scatter gun’ approach with a digital camera with a huge memory card. As I have 36 exposures on a roll of film I take my time, I think carefully about what I’m doing and I may take a couple of evenings on a freezing bridge I get the shot I want. All of the prints on this website have been taken using black and white and colour film and they have all been printed here at my studio by hand.

The second USP is the framing and the service we give you. The frames are made by hand and the prints are numbered, titled and signed. Now this isn’t anything too different to the others also selling prints but we also offer a professional hanging service if you buy four or more prints. Delivery is also free. Our professional hanging service is a great add on as some of the larger panoramics need to be treated with care on their journey to eventually hanging on your wall. We can also help you with curating a set of prints that will hang together, whether it’s a set of New York prints, or sunsets, or black and white prints of Prague we can help you with your set.
