Framed Prints of Richmond Hill in Autumn. London.

London is such a green city and even in the high rise bits in the city there are pockets of green everywhere. The change of season, particularly in Autumn make our green city a photographers dream. Every year I take a trip to the top of Richmond Hill and take this shot again. I always try and get enough elevation so I can see the bend of the river. It’s a panoramic view too so I have a number of panoramic prints of this view in my gallery. You can see this particular colour print of Richmond Hill here. I use a very slow colour slide film for my large panoramic colour prints. I always use a tripod as at 64ISO I don’t want any camera shake which I would get if if I used it handheld. You can see a little movement in the leaves at the top of the image but the rest is pin sharp.

The view from Richmond Hill is also a great black and white landscape. I took this shot a little lower down the hill where there is a break in the trees and you can see the river. This limited edition print is one of 150 and there are still 49 left to go. I do all my black and white developing and printing by hand at my studio in London and conveniently the framers next door help me with the framing which is also done by hand. We like to think the quality of print we produce is far better than anything you can find on the internet. You can see this black and white print of Richmond here.

Richmond in London is also lovely down by the river. This colour print of Richmond on a Summers day has been popular as a gift.
