Panoramic prints are perfect for offices.

Offices often have large spaces to fill. Reception areas and boardrooms have a lot of wall space. Panoramic prints are the perfect solution when there’s lots of space and one standalone print is required. The print below is 52” wide. It’s big. The shape of the panoramic print often just suits the office wall space they inhabit. The print below is hanging in a rectangular space above an office cabinet. This London office have two of these panoramics. London is a great city for panoramic images. This particular silhouette of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben was taken on a medium format camera using a very slow black and white film. The slow speed of the film enables us to make very large smooth prints with very little grain. We make all of our prints by hand in house and send them next door to to our framers. The black frame works perfectly with the black and white print.

The print of Big Ben below also fits its space perfectly. We discussed the possibility of using two black and white images of London in portrait but when it was put to the vote of the staff the panoramic was a clear winner. The colouring also suits the room perfectly. I took this print while working on a set of other Big Ben prints and was so pleased to find that I had the perfect panoramic print in amongst the set. The little wisp of cloud in the top right hand corner gives context to he sky.
