Framed Prints of Clapham and Battersea London

Battersea and Clapham are two bits of London I know well. I’ve lived there for over 30 years. I had a market stall on Northcote Road for many years where I sold my London prints every Friday and Saturday. My framed prints of Clapham and Battersea were always popular and when it snowed it was an opportunity to add more prints to my collection. You can see the two prints below in the London black and white gallery. The Bandstand on Clapham Common was about 200 metres away from my house and I have a good selection of prints taken throughout the seasons. Battersea has the park and the Pagoda. It also has Albert Bridge linking it to the nice bits of West London.

At my stall in Clapham at the end of the school year committees of Mums would buy leaving gifts for their children’s teachers. New and existing home owners off the Northcote Road would buy prints for their bare walls. Local businesses too would buy prints for their boardrooms and reception areas. The gallery is all online now but I do miss the market with the flower stalls and the fruit and veg traders. I started making large panoramic prints as there was a demand for much larger prints particularly for offices. The larger homes off Clapham Common also wanted bigger framed prints. I now have a complete gallery of London panoramic prints which you can see here. The print below is of the cyclists on Clapham common. You can see this framed prints here.

The Bandstand on Clapham Common is beautiful in the autumn. This print below was taken in the second week of October. I have a portrait version of this print as well and you can see them in the London Colour Prints gallery here. The prints are all limited edition, they are signed and titled and all made by hand. They are all taken on film too, the print below was taken on slow 64ISO Fuji Velvia film which gives lovely saturated colours and the resulting prints are smooth with no graininess which allows me to print to very large sizes. Give us a call if you need any help finding a print of Clapham or Battersea on 020 8333 0151.
