The Panoramic print is something quite different from your normal landscape or portrait print. The shape is different and the subject matter is also often unique to the frame shape. Wide angle shots fit the panoramic frame perfectly and views from bridges and seem to fit the shape perfectly.

For a panoramic image to work the image needs to be striking as it’s often above a reception desk or in a prominent spot. The type of frame is important too. We use plain black frames with all of our panoramic prints as the image is star of the show not the frame.

I love shooting panoramics. The images take longer to compose as the light is so important. It can often take two or three attempts to get the sunset or sunrise perfect and I’ve spent many hours on freezing windy bridges waiting for that perfect shot.
