Framed Black and white prints of New York.

My collection of New York prints has grown over the years and I now have and fairly sizeable collection of colour and black and white New York prints. They are all handmade, they are all limited edition, and they are numbered, signed and titled. They all come in standard black frames and they are perfect for offices, homes and for gifts.

The above framed print of the Rockefeller building in New York is part of a set of skyscraper prints which have been popular to use as sets. I’ve written a blog recently about making prints of skyscrapers here.

New York, like London, is full of movement as well as the static images that everyone knows. There are so many prints that look like the postcard type images you see everywhere. Our USP is that we produce fine art photography which is all about making everyday images art. The above black and white print of The Statue of Liberty is also available in colour and is a great standalone print for an office. The moving taxis print on the right is perfect to put within a set in a room or along an office corridor.

The set of prints above have featured a couple of times in my blog. This set of black and white prints of New York work perfectly as a set running up some stairs. The challenge is to not knock the bowls off the stairs as you walk up! You can see all of the black and white New York prints here. I generally use a medium format camera for my black and white prints. My favourite film is Ilford 100ASA as it produces lovely smooth contrasty prints and I can produce them in large sizes. Offices generally like larger prints and the very large panoramic prints we make in house and we frame them at the framers next door.
