London photography gallery. New collections of prints.

Our photography gallery in London specialises in Fine art photography of world cities. The largest collection of prints sits in the London gallery where there are now three sections. You can see the categories at the top of this page. The colour and black and white galleries of New York and Paris and now joined with a new larger collection of Prague photography prints. The new Prague collection are prints I’ve taken over the years and I’ve been working on them since the end of 2024. In keeping with all my other work the prints are available in three sizes, they are all limited edition and they are all hand made. You can see the black and white Prague prints here. The Prague colour prints are now in a separate gallery and you can see them here.

Our photography gallery has now been online since the pandemic. We’re based in London and we started life as a market stall in South West London. Every Friday and Saturday in 2003 we traded in the street with the fruit and veg, the flower stalls and other arts and crafts who didn’t mind the odd drizzy day. Our London photography gallery then moved to new premises near Clapham Junction. Our clients were a mix of private customers looking for gifts and prints to hang in their homes and commercial clients who were looking for art to put in their offices and commercial spaces. We even had a hotel client who commissioned a set of their own London prints to put either side of the bed in their ‘superior’ rooms. You can read all about our hotel job here.

There are a number of photography galleries in London. We are a bit ‘old school’ in that all the prints in the gallery started life on film. Nothing was taken on a digital camera. Before digital I printed everything myself and it meant that I was able produce very large smooth prints without any grain. I continue to do that today. Of course I use a digital camera for studio and magazine work but I’ve kept using film for everything in this online gallery of framed prints. I think clients like this USP. The print above on the right is a case in point. I love the inky blacks in this silhouette print and the film I used and hand printing gave me the effect I wanted. Photoshop can do all of these things and students, many of whom use film, are taught to understand the film terminology and apply it their digital printing. The print below is of the view across Charles Bridge. It’s a clear late summer afternoon and the shadows are producing an amazing contrast. Again lovely dark blacks and subtle greys. I hope you like the new gallery layout and enjoy the new prints. It’s been a work in progress for so many months and I’m very pleased that our clients are finding it easier to find what they want.
